Terry & Susan Vaughan bought their waterfront lot in Cape Royale in August of 1996, then began construction on their retirement home shortly thereafter!!!!! SO MUCH FOR RETIREMENT! Terry began selling real estate in the Cape in 1998 and has never looked back having either sold and/or listed over 1000 pieces of property... homes, lots, farm, ranch or commercial properties. From 1999 to 2008, Terry was the leading realtor in San Jacinto County and in 2009 Susan was the # 1 Realtor in San Jacinto County upon Terry’s retirement.

Like so many people in the community, Terry and Susan lived in Houston prior to moving to Cape Royale. They owned 2 other homes on Lake Livingston since 1985.

Susan is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors , and Houston Multiple Listing Service. Susan is very involved in community events, sponsoring the Cape Royale Civic Association Annual Golf Tournament, co-hosting the Civic Association Annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta, and being a contributor for the Cape Royale Boating Association Annual Commodore’s Banquet. She is also active in the Coldspring Women's League and is currently on the board of directors for San Jacinto County Habitat for Humanity.
